With the release of their second album, Taller Than Most, reggae band After The Ibis wanted to avoid the trappings of the conventional reggae aesthetic. With their brand of social and ethical reggae, fused with the transcendence of modern jazz and the upbeat, danceability of funk, their wanted something different to what the world might expect from a reggae band from Ireland.
